Lupus Foundation of Virginia

Our Mission

The Lupus Foundation of Virginia, Inc. is a non-profit 501(C)(3) volunteer health Organization that was founded in 1979 in order to accomplish the following objectives:

Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families
Focus both lay and professional attention on this widespread, but diagnostically elusive and little understood disease
Support and stimulate research to help speed the discovery of the cause and cure of Lupus Erythematosus

Volunteers Needed

Volunteers are needed to wrap books at Barnes and Noble (9850 Brook Road Glen Allen, VA 23059 (804) 264-6850) on behalf of the Lupus Foundation of Virginia, Inc. Assistance is needed Friday May 11th, Saturday May 12th, and Sunday May 13th. If you are available to help us or know someone who may be available please send an email with your availability to missklw18@yahoo.com or call the office at 804.270.1626. This will be a great opportunity for students who are in need of volunteer hours!
